Aice Dixon from Creative Ireland visited 1st and 2nd class to teach them all about animation . They learned how to use Stop Motion . They then created their own animation using their own drawings and an animation box . We can't wait to see the finished animations !

We were delighted to welcome Helena Golden from the Heritage Council to our school, where she introduced the children to the traditional craft of willow weaving.
Our 5th and 6th Class pupils had the exciting opportunity to design and build an outdoor dome, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The results were truly fantastic, with the children crafting beautiful pieces while learning a valuable new skill.
Take a look below at the stunning baskets and decorative fish they created. The pupils also incorporated natural materials from their surroundings, including dogwood and ivy, making each piece even more unique and special.
3rd class have spent the last month working on their Woild bird projects . The project involved observing garden birds around the school and Listened carefullyto their call . They observed all the beautiful colours in their plumage. The children also researched other irish wild birds . Each child then picked their favourite and recreated their bird using paper mache techniques . Look at the fabulous results !
